Maintaining Your List of Collaboration Partners

Please review the below information before adding or removing partners. Each partner must have an Annual or Multinational Copyright License and sign up for the Collaboration License amendment in order to be eligible. It is important that you maintain your list of partners and understand the process to add or remove partners.

Follow these three easy steps to add partners to your list of collaboration partners:

Identify your partners and notify them that you wish to add them as a collaboration partner under your organization's Collaboration License with CCC/RightsDirect.

Make sure your partners are licensed under a CCC or RightsDirect Annual or Multinational Copyright License, and you have signed the Collaboration License Agreement. We have provided a sample email for you to send to partners to guide them. If your partner is not licensed, have them Contact CCC/RightsDirect to obtain a license.

Update your list of partners and notify CCC/RightsDirect that you are adding a partner by providing us with your list of partners using the form on this portal.

Removing Partners

It's important that you keep your list of active collaboration partners up to date. When you collaboration with a particular partner ends, or if a partner decides to end its license coverage and becomes ineligible, please update your list and notify CCC/RightsDirect using the Update Partners Form and we will update your active partner list.

About the License

  • Covers content exchange between work group members from two licensed companies*

  • Simplifies copyright compliance and maximizes the value of your licenses
*Both companies must: The Collaboration License does not authorize document delivery or the bulk and systematic sharing of content.

See the Annual Copyright License FAQs or Multinational Copyright License FAQs for more information.
