Workflow of the Future: SMART Standards in Action

What: Workflow of the Future: SMART Standards in Action Webcast
When: Tuesday, 19 March 2024 | 10:30 AM EDT, 2:30 PM GMT
Where: Online (via Zoom)

We hear a lot about how important SMART standards are, but how do they work in practice?

In this event, we will look at how machine-readable standards were deployed in a large real-world engineering project. Jonathan Rushmore, Principal and Vice President at AECOM, will join us to talk about how digital design is being used in the architecture space, including the development of a prototype air tower primarily based in automated building design.

During this session we will learn how standards and other data sources were used to model the structure and to design for extreme weather conditions. Jonathan will also address the challenges of applying building standards, code, and quality control.
